Pentacon was engaged as construction manager (CM) on this important relocation project for our international financial services client. A ‘flight to quality’ at Brookfield’s newest tower, that was still under construction when tenant fixturing took place, required on-going communication between Pentacon and the base building contractor. Regular updates to monitor their progress during pre-construction was paramount to maintaining schedule control, particularly as we approached site mobilization. Scope of work included: High-end client-facing townhall and conferencing facilities; Multiple slab openings and structural reinforcement for two distinct interconnecting staircases; numerous boardrooms with SkyFold partitions, inclusive of structural infrastructure; Extremely high-tech trading floor with significant A/V components and ancillary amenity spaces.
