Pentacon Group’s sustainable practices are an integral part of all our project sites.
Having one of our directors being involved in Canada’s first LEED certified project achieving Gold status has driven us to set our standards high to this regard and our commitment to a better environment.
Mandatory LEED requirements are outlined in our general instructions to bidders for all projects. These instructions implement strategies to maintain a minimum IAQ and Waste Management Plan regardless of the size of project. Our office and field staff work diligently to ensure these practices are implemented and continue to improve our practices with every project and keep current with the changes of materials and applications within the construction industry.
With extensive experience in historic, new build, retrofit and raised floor application buildings, we have developed a library of approved materials and applications that comply with CaGBC LEED criteria. Our approach with all projects is to maintain control of LEED targeted goals set in place by the client and management team. Our experience and archive of approved material and methods allows us to determine how we can better those goals and still maintain control of the construction budget.
